The ViaBTC TX Accelerator helps an unconfirmed Bitcoin transaction receive higher mining priority without replacing its TXID. ViaBTC’s current free submission rules require a transaction size of 0.5 KB or less and a fee rate of at least 0.0001 BTC/KB. Paid acceleration accepts BTC, BCH, or LTC for the service fee and can involve ViaBTC’s cooperating mining pools. A successful submission does not guarantee confirmation within 10, 20, or 30 minutes because Bitcoin block production remains probabilistic. Before paying, check the TXID, confirmation status, transaction size, fee rate, unconfirmed parents, and current free capacity.

Bitcoin transactions do not enter a block simply because they were broadcast first. Miners choose from transactions stored in their mempools, and fee rate is one of the main selection criteria when available block space is limited. Since Bitcoin targets an average block interval of about 10 minutes, even a transaction paying a reasonable fee can wait through more than one block.

The situation becomes more noticeable when a transaction was created during a quieter fee market and network demand rises later. A wallet may have estimated an adequate rate at 10:00, yet several higher-paying transactions can arrive before the next block. The payment remains valid, but its position relative to other transactions changes as the mempool changes.

That distinction explains why an accelerator can help without altering the original payment. ViaBTC accepts the existing TXID and gives an eligible transaction preferred treatment when constructing a block, rather than asking the sender to create another transaction with a higher fee.

The service changes mining priority; it does not rewrite the recipient, amount, inputs, outputs, or original transaction hash.

ViaBTC currently applies two measurable limits to free submissions. The transaction must be no larger than 0.5 KB and must carry at least 0.0001 BTC/KB in fees. The latter equals 10,000 satoshis per KB, although wallets and mempool services commonly display fee rates in sat/vB, so the displayed units should be checked before comparing figures.

The free quota deserves a separate check because ViaBTC’s published material has changed over time. Its May 2024 support article described 20 free acceleration slots per hour, while the current accelerator page can display a different live allowance, including 0 available slots for an hour. Treat the number shown on the live page as the usable figure rather than assuming the 2024 allowance is permanent.

Using the service starts with the transaction hash, not the receiving Bitcoin address. Open the sending wallet, exchange withdrawal record, or a reputable Bitcoin block explorer and copy the 64-character TXID associated with the pending transfer. Verify that its status is still unconfirmed before submitting anything.

A block explorer also provides information that helps decide whether acceleration is worth paying for. Look at the transaction’s fee rate, virtual size, number of inputs and outputs, and whether its inputs come from transactions that have already confirmed. A transaction using one unconfirmed parent has a different problem from an independent low-fee payment.

For free acceleration, sign in, paste the TXID, and let the ViaBTC interface test eligibility. If the size is above 0.5 KB, the fee is below 0.0001 BTC/KB, or the current hourly allowance has already been used, the free request can be rejected before mining priority is applied.

Paid acceleration begins with the same TXID but adds a quoted service charge. ViaBTC states that pricing considers matters such as transaction volume and cryptocurrency prices rather than applying one permanent flat charge to every request. The customer can then pay in BTC, BCH, or LTC.

The paid fee should not be confused with the miner fee already written into the Bitcoin transaction. If the original transaction contains a 5,000-satoshi miner fee, purchasing acceleration does not edit that field to 10,000 or 20,000 satoshis. The payment compensates the acceleration service for giving the existing transaction preferential mining treatment.

ViaBTC’s 2024 support documentation states that paid requests can be communicated to cooperating mining pools. When one of those pools finds a block, the transaction can be taken from the pending mempool and given higher packing priority. That provides more opportunities than waiting only for ViaBTC’s own next block, although no fixed confirmation time is promised.

No miner can guarantee that its next block will arrive exactly 10 minutes after the previous one. Bitcoin’s roughly 10-minute target is a long-run property of the protocol’s difficulty adjustment, not a schedule assigning blocks at 10-minute intervals. A pool can find two blocks close together or go considerably longer without finding one.

For that reason, claims such as “100% confirmation within 15 minutes” should not be treated as normal Bitcoin mining behavior. ViaBTC itself states that acceleration time cannot be precisely estimated because block production timing, network congestion, transaction fees, and mining conditions can affect the result.

A failed request can also originate upstream from the transaction being submitted. Suppose transaction B spends an output created by transaction A, while A still has 0 confirmations. Miners generally need the parent transaction available and acceptable before B can be confirmed, so accelerating only B may leave the dependency unresolved.

ViaBTC specifically lists an unconfirmed previous transaction as a reason free acceleration can fail and recommends dealing with the preceding transaction first or considering paid acceleration. Double-spend transactions are also excluded from the service.

Another message, “Tx hash not found,” points to a different issue. A wallet may have created and broadcast a transaction, yet ViaBTC’s mempool may not have received it properly. Its support documentation recommends confirming that the hash is correct and rebroadcasting the transaction before trying acceleration again.

That check separates propagation from fee competition. If ViaBTC cannot see the transaction, paying for higher mining priority does not address the first problem. If the transaction is visible but sitting behind higher-fee transactions, acceleration is much more closely matched to the reason for the delay.

RBF provides another option when the sending wallet supports it. Replace-by-Fee allows a sender to issue a replacement transaction paying a higher miner fee, whereas ViaBTC TX Accelerator works with the existing transaction. RBF can therefore change the transaction ID, while pool-based acceleration can preserve the original TXID.

The choice can be compared with four practical checks:

  • Use RBF when the transaction was created as replaceable, the sending wallet supports fee bumping, and changing the TXID causes no operational issue.

  • Consider acceleration when preserving the existing TXID matters or the sender cannot create a replacement.

  • Wait when the payment is not time-sensitive and current mempool fees are moving toward the original fee rate.

  • Compare the paid quote with the financial cost of delay instead of paying automatically.

For example, paying a $20 equivalent service fee may be reasonable when a delayed deposit prevents a much larger settlement from proceeding. The same $20 may have little economic justification for a personal transfer that can remain pending for another 6 or 12 hours without consequences.

Security checks are simpler than the mining mechanics. A transaction accelerator needs publicly available transaction information, primarily the TXID. It does not need a Bitcoin seed phrase or private key. A request for 12 or 24 recovery words is unrelated to legitimate transaction prioritization and should not be completed.

Submission also deserves a final verification because ViaBTC states that acceleration cannot be canceled after it has been submitted and that the service is non-refundable. Check the 64-character TXID, current confirmation count, quoted fee, and payment currency before approving a paid request.

One last block-explorer check can prevent unnecessary spending. A transaction that gained 1 confirmation moments before payment no longer needs acceleration, while a transaction still showing 0 confirmations should be reviewed against present mempool conditions, its parent transactions, and the acceleration price before proceeding.
